EXCAVATOR OPERATOR

Strong forward workload for 2021 offering excellent job security with projects in the Wellington/Wairarapa & Tararua Regions We are currently on the hunt for an experienced Digger Operator! We need someone who is passionate about the work and helping the team.

ABOUT THE ROLE

In this role you will operate machinery of various sizes and working hands-on as part of the team to complete excavation works on projects within the Wellington, Wairarapa & Tararua regions.
You will gain exposure to a variety of interesting projects and be provided the opportunity to develop your skills and leadership competencies.

WHAT YOU NEED

  • Ability to complete final trim and finishing works to excellent standards.
  • Ability to operate safely around services.
  • Full Driver’s Licence
  • At least 5-years’ experience operating up to 20t excavators.
  • Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team, with a can-do attitude (Capability and experience leading a small crew is a plus!)
  • Ability to read and follow construction plans.
  • Ability to maintain machinery with a high level of care.
